I developed my skill at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, achieving a major of Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture. After college I independently created artwork in both two and three dimensions, eventually spending much more time developing my drawing and painting skills. Eventually I moved to Lawrence, applied for and received a job at the Essex Art Center, teaching drawing to teenagers and adults. I worked there for roughly four years before moving onto working full time for the past ten years at Lawrence High School teaching Visual Arts. For the past several summers I have been running the Lawrence Mural Arts Program in partnership with Valley Works Career Center and the Essex Art Center, producing over ten large public murals with the help of paid student workers in a community enrichment program for the youth of the City of Lawrence.
